Dencia premieres new video in Lagos(Photos)

Dencia was in Lagos (Sheraton Hotels,Ikeja) today where she had a media parley and premiered her new video, African Energy. During the parley, the singer and businesswoman addressed several issues like why she won't be featuring any Nigerian artist. She says they didn't believe in her and even some she collaborated with didn't end up shooting videos with her.

She also revealed she would be launching her next single as an international artist (in the US) because she doesn't want to be confined to Nigeria or Africa.


Her impressive video celebrates African achievers including Lupita Nyong'o. When Miss Petite Nigeria asked if that meant her 'beef with her is settled, Dencia said she had no issues with Lupita but had to fight back because her brand was being tarnished. She said Lupita has made history and that can't be denied. She also said she has love for Lupita but stressed, no one can bring down her brand.

She left Lagos immediately  after the meeting! More details and official photos later
